We would like to inform you that starting from January 9th, 2017, ENERGOPROJEKT ENTEL is initiating new video communication with its employees called Video News. The short video format is intended to provide information related to important corporate activities, as well as ongoing projects or project expected to be awarded to our company in the period to come. In addition, our employees will be given an opportunity to present themselves and tell us a little bit more about their work, as well as their other interests.
The News will be uploaded on the Infonet, every first Monday of the month. If you have any ideas or suggestions regarding the content or the format of the News please feel free to send them to marketing@ep-entel.com.

Time off during the holiday break for Energoprojekt Head Office employees, Belgrade, shall cover the period from Saturday 31 December 2016 to Sunday 8 January 2017 inclusive. The first working day shall be Monday 9 January 2017.

18.11.2016. ENTEL: SERBIAN PRESIDENT VISITS ENTEL’S BRANCH OFFICE IN QATAR

A delegation lead by the Serbian President Tomislav Nikolić, visited Entel’s Doha office on 8 November 2016, during an official two-day visit to the State of Qatar. A meeting with Entel’s CEOs provided an opportunity for President Nikolić to become better informed about the Entel’ successful operations and long-term business practice in the Middle East region. The accompanying delegation included high representatives of Serbian and Qatari governments, including HE the Qatari Minister of Culture and Sports Salah bin Ghanem bin Nasser al-Ali and Vise president and Minister in the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Mr. Rasim Ljajić, as well as HE Jasminko Pozderac, Serbian ambassador to Qatar and HE Mubarak Fahad J.M. Al-Thani, Qatar’s ambassador to Serbia.

The GCC Regional Committee for Large Electric Systems organized the 12th GCC- Cigre International Conference & 21st Exhibition for Electrical Equipment in Doha, State of Qatar, from 8-9 November 2016. The two-day event was hosted by the Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) as the main, and Energoprojekt Entel, due to its sound and enduring partnership with the host, as the official Bronze Sponsor.

07.11.2016. ENTEL: ENTEL PRESENT AT THE 23th WORLD ENERGY CONGRESS

The World Energy Congress represents today the global flagship energy event, organized by the World Energy Council (WEC - World Energy Council) and held every three years, since 1924, when it hosted the first World Energy Conference. For our continued membership, and also substantial contribution to this premier energy gathering, we sincerely thank Dr Miodrag Mesarovic, whose support, as the longtime Secretary General to the National Committee of WEC, allows us to be involved in issues of vital importance to our country. Due to Dr Mesarovic permanent commitment and continuous involvement with WEC, the Republic of Serbia is nowadays considered to be one of the upstanding members of this most powerful non-governmental and non-profit organization with a common goal of promoting sustainable energy use.

This year, the 23th World Energy Congress took place in Istanbul, from October 9 – 13, under the slogan "Embracing New Frontiers". The global energy forum has brought together over 2,000 delegates, 270 speakers, including 5 Heads of State and 56 national energy ministers, representatives of leading energy companies and organizations, financial institutions, experts and scholars from more than 100 countries worldwide. The event was attended, on behalf of Energoprojekt Group, by Mr. Mladen Simovic, Director of Energoprojekt ENTEL.

25.10.2016. ENTEL: PARTICIPATION AT "THE RIDE OF CHAMPIONS" PROFESSIONAL BICYCLE RACE IN DOHA

The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) has organized the 89th Road World Championships in Doha, Qatar. It is the first time that this largest and most prestigious annual gathering is being organized in the Middle East. Doha warmly welcomed around 1000 racers from across 75 countries. The one-week competition took place from October 9-16th.

One of the participants, who joined this mass cycling “The Ride of Champions” event, was Energoprojekt Entel’s team. A three-member crew included Mr. Momčilo Mrvić, Mr. Vladimir Stefanović and Mr. Miloš Petrović, who rode five circuits (about 75 km) at an average speed of 33 km/h.

20.10.2016. ENTEL: ENTEL IS AWARDED THE "ĐORĐE STANOJEVIĆ" CHARTER AND PLAQUE FOR 2016

Within the Day of "Electric Power Industry of Serbia"(celebrated on 6 October), the JP EPS annually awarded a special Plaque to organizations and individuals, in recognition of their substantial contribution to the development and promotion of this company. The Plaque is named after Đorđe Stanojević (1858-1921), in honor of the renowned Serbian physicist, professor of the High School in Belgrade, the Rector of Belgrade University, who is credited with introducing the first electric lighting and constructing the first Hydro Power Plants in Serbia (Užice on the Đetinja River and Vučje on the Vučjanka River).

One of the 2016 award recipients is Energoprojekt Entel. The "Đorđe Stanojević" Charter and Plaque was officially presented at the JP EPS Supervisory Board Meeting, held on 6 October.2016. Mr. Mladen Simović, the Director of Energoprojekt ENTEL, received the award on behalf of the company.

21.07.2016. ENTEL: COCKTAIL ON THE OCCASION OF GETTING AWARD FOR LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT DR MESAROVIC
On Friday, 21/07/2016 in the White Hall of Energoprojekt was held a cocktail party for all employees of Energoprojekt Entel, which was organized by dr Miodrag Mesarović, on the occasion of receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award at the celebration of 65 years of Energoprojekt.
Cocktail was opened by director Mladen Simović who highlighted the importance for Entel the first prize award by Energoprojekt for lifetime achievement which went to our employee, the man who more than half a century not only contributes by working on projects of Entel and transferring their knowledge to younger colleagues, but participates in the development of scientific thought in the field of energy in the Republic of Serbia and in the world too.
Doctor Mesarović in his speech to colleagues commented on the continuous acceleration of scientific achievements and knowledge in the field which Entel deals, and noted that his work and achievements of Entel is always team work and common succees, that the acceptance of this award means to him extension work with colleagues.

The ceremony was attended by more than 300 guests, mandated to form the new Government of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, representatives of the diplomatic corps, Energoprojekt associates and friends from home and abroad.

On Saturday, 12/06/2015, at the prestigious Diplomatic Club in Doha was held a celebration of 25 years successful business of Energoprojekt Entel in the Middle East. The celebration was attended by the director of Entel Mladen Simovic, directors of Entel companies from the region of the Middle East, as well as employees of the company in Qatar, whose number now reaches nearly three hundred.
The director of the Entel company in Qatar Momcilo Mrvic highlighted the fact that Entel today by renowned clients recognized as a reliable and safe partner to whom to entrust the tasks that require a high level of knowledge and expertise professional response.
Director of Entel Mladen Simovic, highlighted that the company's success is not unexpected, and is based on decades of dedicated work and commitment of a large number of professionals, both in foreign companies, and in Belgrade, who have contributed to the joint efforts of Entel successfully overcome the challenges of operating in a highly competitive and prestigious market of the Middle East.

04.01.2016. ENTEL: DUBAI SPONSORED SERBIAN PARACHUTE TEAM
Under the patronage of the Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai from 1st to 12th December 2015 World Games were held in the air (World Air Games 2015), a traditional event which, like the Olympic Games, are held every four year. Within these games thirty countries of the world were competing, with approximately 1,500 athletes who competed in thirteen different disciplines.
The company Energoprojekt Entel in Dubai, recognizing the importance of the small teams sports, which represents our country in the world, has decided this year to help in the participation of five members parachuting representation of Serbia in the Olympics in the air.
